Once the board has resolved issues and policies presented in the board meeting, it is important to document that through the signing of the resolution. The document must clearly state all parties that were present and approved the resolution. It is also best practice to number the resolutions under consideration during that year such as 1/2024.

This must then be filed in the board pack so that it can be referred back to should the need every arise.

The board agenda must clearly state the time and location of the meeting. If it is a virtual meeting, then make sure to also include the link to the call with all relevant details such as passcodes. The agenda should clearly state the order of the meeting so that participants are clear on where their contribution will be within the whole meeting
